BASE JUMPING

BASE is an acronym for Building, Antenna, Span, Earth, referring to jumping from fixed objects of
this type with a parachute. The best suited training for BASE Jumping is learning to skydive.
Because BASE jumping is so far from mainstream, and considered so extreme, there are limited participants,
but Skydive Pennsylvania has always been a skydiving facility with a larger than typical number of fixed
object jumping participants.  Their influence makes for an excellent learning environment for those
