Continued Training - Earning a License

The United States Parachute Association issues skydiving licenses, A through D, which are used throughout the country as a measurement of a skydiver's demonstrated skills. The fifteen levels of the Skydive Pennsylvania IAF program listed below, plus five to ten solo jumps, will take you to the A-license. The average student completes the levels in 14 to 16 jumps. Students who have completed Level One ground training and performed satisfactorily,  simply move on by completing a short briefing for Level Two. Students who have made a static line or tandem jump can begin the IAF levels at level two after ground training for freefall and solo parachute flight. The cost is $275. Skydive Pennsylvania also offers advanced training for other licenses, instructor ratings, headdown flying and BASE jumping.
